Starting & Maintaining a Worm Farm 2021
October 30 @ 10:30 am – 11:30 am
Worm farming is a fun way to turn your organic waste, such as kitchen scraps, into rich fertiliser for your garden in the form of worm castings and worm tea.
Our presenter is Lesley Ottey from Eco Educate. Eco Educate provides waste rethinking, help and support across Canterbury.
Lesley is happy for people to make mini worm farms to take home. Just bring two clean ice cream containers of the same size, with a lid that fits one of the containers. Spare newspaper would be good too.
Worms, and flower and vegetable seeds also available for purchase
This workshop is supported by Selwyn District Council.
Gold coin donation appreciated.
Please note the venue for this workshop has changed to Lincoln Baptist Church, 109 Carnavernon Drive, Lincoln 7672.
Unfortunately at Level 2 we are unable to host visitors to the community gardens, we are very lucky that we can still hold this workshop thanks to Lincoln Baptist Church.
