Selwyn Timebank has formed a new Board Games Group which now meets regularly.
What a lot of fun and laughter we had during our first get-together! After a quick explanation of Rummukub, two rounds of the game were completed while we nibbled on some snacks and had coffee. A timebank member had brought along Rummikub, among a variety of games that had also been shared. It’s a wonderful opportunity to showcase your favourite board or card games and get others playing them!
All are welcome to come along.

An Introductory Workshop Presented by Tony Bywater, Christchurch Bonsai Society
Bonsai is an art form probably started by the Chinese over 2000 years ago, using trees grown in containers or on rocks to represent the beauty and majesty of nature.
Have you ever thought of developing your own Bonsai tree? Come to this workshop to learn how to do it. Watch an ordinary nursery tree turned into a Bonsai, then have a go yourself. Learn what to look for in nursery trees, how to select which branches to keep and which to cut off, how to pot it up and how to look after it. All good fun, and you get your own Bonsai to take home!
Places are limited for this popular, hands-on workshop, so register by contacting Ruth Wood as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
COVID VACCINE PASS MUST BE PRESENTED ON ARRIVAL.
