An annual event to celebrate Selwyn’s many keen gardeners, and to promote best practices in vegetable production. Anyone living in Selwyn can participate and there is no entry charge (entrants purchase their own seeds etc.). The emphasis will be on participation and showcasing our gardens.  Only vegetable gardens will be assessed, not flower gardens, shrubs or fruit trees, unless these are integrated with the garden area.

Inspection visits on 11^th February 2023 to interview the entrants and view their gardens.  All gardeners’ achievements will be celebrated, with the presentation of certificates at an awards gathering to be held in late February.
